Karen Donnelly was born and raised in Newport, Rhode Island and is a graduate of Salve Regina College in Newport. Licensed in real estate in North Carolina and South Carolina as well as Florida, Karen specializes in Palm Beach and Asheville/Hendersonville, North Carolina real estate and has been involved in numerous transactions in both areas.
An avid tennis player, Karen has been the Director of Tennis at Sloan's Curve, Palm Beach for 23 years. She also enjoys golf and is an accomplished cook and hostess. Karen is also the proud mother of two fabulous boys and is actively involved in the Boys Scouts of America as a trained Leader. She also serves on the Round Table Staff for the Boy Scouts and is a member of The Friends of Scouting fundraising committee. In addition, Karen serves on the New Hope Charity fundraising committee, the St. Ann's Auction committee, and the Cardinal Newman Auction committee. She also is a member of the Palm Beach Yacht Club.
